Hmm the card you are using is fairly mainstream, and RIFT ultra is demanding on hardware, regardless of AA being off, you might wanna try turn shadows down to minimum that can help boost fps a lot, or the other reason could be ATI's recent dodgy drivers, which many people have reported issues...

Well, for me, I have all my games and apps on my crucial raid 0 ssd, and backup info my a samsung 1tb, which makes life very easy when it comes to doing reinstalls.

From what research I have done, this monitor is ment to have rather poor quality image quality, with the image being rather "washed out" and "grainy" this is due to be matte anti flare finish the screen has.

Exactly, if the prices were decent to begin with, many people would not be hanging around for Nvidia to show their cards. As the saying goes, "money talks", times are hard at the moment, every penny counts and value for money is important, AMD seems to have lost the plot.

The 7950 is a decent performing card, however, you can get better branded and better cooled GTX 580s, for less money, and better performance, thats quite bad considering these 7950s have 3 gigs ram, compared to what looks like a 1.5gig 580. I dont think the 7950 offers in any value for money...
