I've also just got a Astra Sri 1.8 changed from a Jag S-type sport. Mainly because I do a lot of commuting on twisty back roads and the Astra is far superior to the Jag for those type of roads. Cheaper too run average 41mpg, cheaper to insure and cheaper to fix if it goes wrong. I miss the...
Always do. I never trust anything so always have at least two backups of important files etc.
However Terramaster know of the problems and offered me a free F2-220 as compensation which I said thank you.
The D4-300 wiped four hard drives clean in single drive mode, then tried Raid did the same. The software provided was and is very poor Terramaster admitted to this, that's why the d4-310 and d2-310 have a switch on the drive to set them up instead of software. I complained because I lost a lot...
I had one of those Terramaster D4-300 external bays and returned it due to having loads of problems. Unless it's the D4-310 which doesn't have the same problems. In the end I returned my D4-300 for a refund and complained to terramaster.
Have YOU read any of my posts, I doubt it selective reading I guess. We wanted to do deal without insurance but she wouldn't. So we went the way we did we've benefited enough that the increase will be more than covered. It isn't £200 more like £800 more than the value of the car.
Okay Ladies and Gentlemen it's a mute point now money exchanged hands car fixed looking good again. First claim in 20 years of motoring so mistakes could have been made. pointless going on and on. Proceedings had already started by time I came on here. So no more advice need / wanted or...
Hmm, no claim on her insurance, claim was on the person who hit the car. So I doubt the small increase in the price will offset the money she as been paid.
But it's sorted now so thanks to all those that helped.
Ops please close the thread.
Because the better half was happy with what was offered for a 14 yr old car that will do for a year or two. At the moment she's made a bit of money over what she paid for the car and still owns the car so a win win situation.
Loads of pictures taken. But to be honest it'll get scrapped when she's finished with it. But sorted a respray for the bumper and a few other bits she wants done. Should have a few hundred quid left after everything's done.
All sorted now car is a cat D. Third party admitted full fault, here insurance have made an offer. No loss financially or NCD. Offer on the table Keep the fiesta + £1075 cash or £1300 cash and no car. So not a bad result all round
Did you read the previous comments she wouldn't do that wanted to go via insurance, also if it had only been a scrape I wouldn't have bothered but she's knocked most of the paint off on the right side of the bumper, broke the number plate and snapped part of the lower grill. We are claiming on...
