**HIS 7850 ICEQ X PRE-ORDER DEAL!**

Anyone know what happens if I pre-order this but order other stuff at the same time that is in stock, can I get them all delivered together to avoid multiple delivery charges (using 10% code so can't get free delivery). I've sent a webnote to OCUK but thought I would ask in case anyone knew?

You can select the delivery date to get them all delivered together. As far as I know.

Your entire order is held at the warehouse until everything is in stock. OCuk do not split ship a single order where one or more item(s) is not in stock. As such, they also do not charge you more PnP than what you see in your email confirmation.

For those that do want separate shipping then your only choice is to place multiple orders and, if you do not qualify for free shipping (or you took advantage of the 10% coupon), then you will have to pay multiple shipping on each order.

Double07, everything will arrive in one order on the day you chose (or later if stock arrives at OCuk later). Either way you will get a dispatch email a day or so before it arrives.

Sorted, just as I hoped common sense prevails :) Now it's just a case of deciding what else I want to throw in the basket with it :) I'm considering just going Sandy Bridge and saving a fair few quid given the deals available on the 2500k just now.

Does anybody know how the HIS will compare to the MIS HD 7850 TF III?

Also, I'm sure I saw mention of new mid-range Nivida cards...apologies for the newbie question but what power/price bracket will these be?

Gibbo quoted 4?
Perhaps he knows more than HIS's official website which says "2 wide heatpipes optimize cooling performance by removing heat from the core area". Linky

edit: It is the 7870 which has 4 heat pipes. The 7850 has to make do with 2, which I think is the same number as a reference cooler (although the HIS ones are a bit bigger and better). It seems a bit weedy for an afternarket cooler.

edit2: ..and how can the price be quoted as "was £219.95, now £184.99", when it is a new pre-order product that has not been in-stock before? Sounds like a DFS Sofa sale:).

The official HIS website says the IceQ has 4 heatpipes.

Or for those who can't be bothered clicking the link, or at work and worried about their bell end of a boss watching what they are doing (that would be me :) ), I quote ""

Thanks to the 9.2cm silent fan, massive amount of cool air is drawn from the central fan to cool down the GPU and graphics card directly. 4 heatpipes optimize cooling performance by removing heat from the core area, providing ultimate solution for professional gamers and HTCP users.

This is strange because the other official HIS link here which I posted earlier says just 2 heatpipes. The pictures of the 7850 also indicate just 2 heatpipes whereas the 7870 clearly has 4. I think two is more likely from the pictures of the card.
