I do think that there might be some variance on the screens though - some people don't seem to have issues at all.
I've come from a 2 year old Nokia smartphone, so I can't really comment on how it compares to other current gen smartphones, but I've had no issue with the screen. Blacks are black, I can't see any problem with them at all, and viewing angles are fine, I don't see any significant change in quality until it's been tilted quite a bit.
I got a cheap slip case from the bay that arrived yesterday, and it's surprisingly nice for ~£2 (and it came with a stylus, which I haven't even tried using yet, I've no real desire to) and should do til the Nillkin gets here.
My only issues with this phone are that I've never used Android before and it's taking time for me to figure out how to do everything with it. I'm up to speed now on basic running of the phone, but I haven't yet discovered how to do a lot of the cool stuff like the vastly different home screen themes etc. Loving it so far though!
