Stulid,

Do you have a link regarding 8packs comments about the gigabyte board being better than the rog?

Sure,

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=24502275&postcount=56
^^ Yes stulid.

But that was unfair as I was only proving a point I made and backed it up with evidence. i.e Screen Shots.

I test all boards these days and users on here will know I am a great fan of all manufacturers boards if they are good boards. Z87 for example Giga are onto the winner in mid price with OC no doubt best board in the area and D3HP in the lower price range. Z77 Giga UP7 I was benching with for multo card always and the UP4TH offered amazing memory clocking. I used M Power by MSI too to great effect. I test all boards by all manufacturers to the limits.

My problem with this review is simple. The reviewer does not understand Haswell. No uncore, no RAM and no blk!!! ie most overclocking removed!!!

Some stuff he states is quite simply wrong.

The best Z87 board is the MVIE. No doubt!! If you have the funds get that board. In the lower priced category OC is better than Hero for sure. OC is a bargain, but not M6E.

I never said that was the build with a titan :\ i said ive seen builds with titans for 2k :\ delete the SSD there u have a titan. This spec is really good value!

Anyways its very good value specially since its all prebuilt oced and built to a really good standard. If OCUK will match it then your good to go :)

Wow there's so may options to choose from! Genuinely confused right now :D

I like the colour scheme above :D

I think I'm pretty decided on the Gigabyte OC board - can you do something along that colour scheme? The orange might put a spanner in that works lol.

Also, Im willing to increase the budget by another 300 quid if that helps in any way to get me a 780 GPU and better monitor

Replace the stock case and H100 fans I presume, you can change the trim ring on them to red/white or blue, would have matched the rest of the spec (nerd p0rn!!)

TEAM do orange ram for the OC board - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-041-TG&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1387

In one the AF fans are "air flow" fans and would be used to replace the standard ones that came with the case with the trim rings that would have matched the rest of the build, the SP fans are "static pressure" these would have gone on the H100 as AF fans aren't suitable for rads.

If your just a gamer and not pushing for WR OC's the D3H is a perfect board, lots of feature SLI ready and if you haven't noticed in my spec there is already a GTX 780 :D

Are the keyboard/mouse any good Ethermaster?

The Keyboard and Mouse are quite new so only time will really tell, but the 4000DPI sensor isn't to be sniffed at and the led on the scroll wheel can be changed to orange so it should suit the build, the Keyboard is a mech keyboard with black switches. The only way to tell if a mouse and keyboard are right for you is to test them. As these are both coolermaster products I don't really see much really going wrong (but note that the keyboard is Tenkeyless with means it doesn't have a num pad).
