Can you alter the difficulty level mid game or do you have to start over ? (ie. create a new char)
Seems to deffo affect the game in real time.

I'm addicted right now to the arena but something weird is going on. As I walk upto the ramps to the fight area, I'm being hit with some poison that drains my health at a silly rate. Whats that all about?

Thats novel, given ive gotta kill 5 and im yet to come across any...even in the local tomb...ta for the info though, thought it might've been that :)

Go to Anvil, check out the first boat in the docks ;) I'm trying to do that mission at the minute, but not having a silver weapon makes it very hard.

McDaniel - I still haven't been contacted by them, but I havent' levelled up since that either. I'm currently going to every Mage's Guild to try and find someone to recharge my magical sword :(

Sorry if its been answered, but how exactly do you 'kill' a ghost?

I saw one in the first (and only) dungeon I explored, but couldnt do anything to it.

Seriously need help peeps. Above I mentioned myself being mysteriously hit by some sort of life threatening drain while entering the arena fights. Upon deeper investigation it seems that if I go anywhere in the imperial city, I'm suddenly hit by this and I hear my char do a low scream as he suddenly feels the effects.

I've managed to get out of the city by teleporting out and I'm fine wherever I go. Anytime I return to the imperial city though, I'm hit by that 'disease'. I keep turning around thinking theres a stealther following me around lol

Edit: Just found out what it is and I cannae beleive it!

I am becoming a VAMPIRE and am allergic to sunlight! :( ffs **** * * * * ****

Cheers :) I just went to an older savegame :( From Lv4 down to 1 :( Cba to go through that quest when I saw how longwinded it was.

Bah. I'm on a quest (second Gray Fox Thieves Guild quest) and I have to fight 2 summoners in the middle of it. They wouldnt be a problem, except for the fact that they keep bloody healing themselves. I'm not exactly strong so I can't fight them forever. How the hell am I supposed to kill them!?

If you can cast fire then that sorts them out. I even 'sampled' ectoplasm - the things you do to become a better alchemist! :D

Use spells and/or magical or silver weapons to kill them :)

Im level 8 after 21 hours of play, my brother is level 16(not sure how many hours play). Hows everyone else doing?

Anyone doing the Nirnroot quest? Ouch!! That stuff is as rare as rocking horse <snip>

Until recently it was my main quest, I have four samples so far and a lead on another, but now it's turned into a treasure hunt I'm just going to keep an eye out for it while I try and get reinstated to the Mage and Fighting guilds. Apparantly joining the guild, cleaning them out, and selling all their gear back to them counts as stealing. *shrug* ;)

Yeah I found 4 so far, need another 6.

O well, plenty of other quests to be carrying on with.

lol likewise. I did find some too, but it had no value attached to it so I discarded it :o

The first two I found were i) by the rowing boat just a stones throw from the very start near the sewers (in fact it was the first side-quest I got) and ii) upstairs in a plant pot in a house I broke into in either Bruma or Chorral. I found a third by a small pond heading directly South from Chorral in the middle of nowhere, just before reaching the town where the dude identifies it. No idea where the fourth came from!

i need help with that, i just hit loads of buttons - not a clue how to use it....or even why to use it?

Youve got to get the largest segment on the best expression of the person, when you put the cursor over lets say Coerce and the expression is extremeley happy you should try to get the largest segment over that to get better speech skills, theres four segments, 2 unhappy and 2 happy, get the happy ones on the largest segment and on the unhappy segments you need to try and rotate to the smallest segments, people like you more if you do this and have a good outcome, you gain speech skills also.

Try to see which ones are the happy and unhappy ones before clicking aimlessly. Very good puzzle when you know how to do it.

Hard to explain also.
