Gamexpert VGA cable - 360

I am changing from my Samsung HDTV to the new 22 inch Samsung 226bw monitor quite soon so I will need a VGA cable for my 360. I have found this one for £15 and it looks rather good.

Anybody use it, or should I just get the official cable?

For that price I'd go official...I googled it for a pic, looks ok, but difficult to judge a cable by looking at it (could be thick insulation rather than thick conductor).

It should do fine. If the offical is the same price, might as well get it.

The general consensus is that the official cable is by far the best and Ive seen it for £16.99 brand new online, so you may as well get that.

Also the cable itself seems to be of a higher quality, hard to tell without testing them though. I might just buy it to compare with my friends official cable for anyone interested.

posted this in another one of these threads last week that may be of some use to you in making up your mind which cable to get:

got a couple of pics if anyones interested

had to keep them reasonably large in size so you could see the bluring on the mad catz one so, sorry for anyone who's on dial up

These were connected directly to my Samsung 913N at 1280x1024. I also get the same thing on my panasonic PT-AE500 projector at 1280x720

If you look round the edge of the 2 on cokecan72, and also on the e on the end of live you can see the bluring (you can also see it on other letters and things bit these 2 are probably the most noticable to me)

Microsoft cable (no bluring):
