Feek walks up the stairs, spots a spider on the wall.

Takes shoe off *thwack*

Young Master Feek who is following says "uuuurrrrgggghhhhh, that's a living creature!"

I look at the squashed splatted mess on the wall.

"No it's not"

Meh, I'm not a great fan of spiders, they come in my house and they're fair game to the bottom of my shoe.

It was on a painted surface, damp cloth and all the remains are gone and it's as nice and shiny as it was before.

As much as I hate spiders, I'm still more of a 'Glass over the top....'

'cardboard underneath....'

and 'out into the garden....' type of guy. ;)

I don't like spiders in the house either, Actually I just don't like spiders! I read that most spiders that venture indoors are females looking for a warm place to make a nest ! :eek:

Damn, and I thought I was going to get a good nights sleep tonight, but not after reading this. *scours bedroom for spider's nests*

Might have been alive but obviously not very clever - it should have had the sense to avoid you!

I read that you really shouldn't squash spiders as other spiders can sence the dead thing so they come to find it and eat it :o

(Ps. Someone could have been winding me up - I'm sure someone here will set me straight :p)
 
Oddly enough just as I was scanning this thread I heard a scream from the bathroom and the sound of someone running hard on the spot.

Yep, you guessed it, girlfriend found a spider in the bath :D

I caught it and put it out the window. I'm such a hero. :cool:

And it's good karma. :)
