Go read the 1080 cards thread, gibbo has said he is putting prices up at 3pm, almost all stock. Somit to do with account being 30 days or something. Sounds weird to me.

https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18736839 (last few posts by gibbo)

But the pound is going every so slightly up again. 1.35 so up from 1.32 a hour or so ago.

So fingers crossed it will go up just given time.

What's weird about it to you? You buy things on account with deferred billing of 30-60 days. We don't know the terms of trade.

Or do you mean it's weird because you don't like it? Bet you wouldn't say that if the prices dropped.

Unfortunately some stock has not landed and some is on account basis so will be booked at the new rate.

In short nothing but a disaster as this has a very negative impact on prices as now everything goes up!!! :( :( :(

Don't worry Gibbo you can drop the prices once the currency speculators have made their money, it's just a blip and for a while a pretext for making more money.

Hold your nerve people the £ will bounce back before too long. Besides OC have 1000 480'a in stock at the old GBP value ;)

Prices go down... stock doesn't follow.

But you did say before about $200 landed price and you said you have 500-1000 in stock now with more very shortly.

So im wondering will you be keeping what you were going to sell at with the stock you have now thats in the warehouse and your throne made of em and when them run out bump the price cos of the new stock thats incoming. Or just going to set the price up even regardless if you had stock already and the existing stock will be same price as stock that is incoming?

He lie?

That's what sales people do.

he never had the stock. And now did OCUK buy them

all on credit

We have the stock but we pay for it in 30 days, we provisionally booked it st 1.44 but we shall now have to adjust down to 1.25-1.30 area due to EU leave.

We are waiting until 15:00 before we decide new rates as it will either drop more, stabilise or recover a little. It is really crap!!!! :(

Yeah. This is why as a consumer I do not see the point in brand or retailer loyalty. Just get what is cheapest and best for you. End of the day it is all business and all about the money :)
