3.6GHZ + C2D clockers please

6600@ 3.6ghz with only 1.4v in the bios (everest reads it at 1.36v after vdroop).

I was going to push it furthur but summer is nearly here so I don't want the temps to become an issue

I guess i'm not worthy of this thread (only at 3.4Ghz :() but i'd just like to ask, what cooling is everyone using to get to 3.6Ghz?

Oh and, ArchAnGeL, does it make a difference what priority Orthos is set at?

would the people who have the real mint o'cers mind posting their stepping? i'm on the lookout for a good e6600 mine is crap, big time!

(my stepping is L632F btw)

Apparently, yes. But I'm no expert on the matter. I think higher priorities generate more heat.

3.6Ghz on my Shuttle on water with E6700, it's an early E6700 so shall replace with Quad when the prices drop (the OC is a tad flaky at the moment but working on it, it's a CPU or N/B limited OC I think)

EDIT: All you folks with low VCores are so lucky, mines at +250mv.

Mine is a L629B I got it from OCUK around november and it is a fantastic chip although it can get a little toasty

chipper36, your rig is air cooled, right?
I can't believe how cool your CPU runs!

Yes air cooled with a Tuniq Tower and 5 12cm fans to keep everything else cool.
Obviously creates quite a bit of noise but not too much to bother me.
Was thinking of water cooling to get to 4GHz but i find 3.6G enough for my needs.

E6420 stable up to 3.75 gets a tad flaky there after, just runs s.pi at 3.84:
320W peltier cooled

ran stable at 3.7 with just water but very unstable anything behond that
