I need some help guys. Which one should i get?

I will be ordering in the next hour or two!

ATI HD 2900 XT 512Mb (Overclockers Version)

Or

Nvidia 8800 GTS 640mb (Leadtek Version)

Both are good. If equally priced I'd say its a tough call.

Some considerations: What games do you play, at what rez, do you plan to overclock, and are filters a priority?

8800GTS.

I would say 2900xt would be a better bet.

Very little between them, either will do you fine.

I'd say make your own choice based on available bechmarks. Either will be fine and run anything you want at nice res's with the eye candy on full.

Go for the 8800GTS.

I'd go for the 8800 GTS.

Id go for the 2900 XT.

Hmmmm. A dodgy decision.

If you purchase the 8800 and AMD/ATI keep improving their drivers and performances then it might leave you a little flat on your purchase.

If the two cards are really equal at the moment and there is untapped power still in these X2900 cards then obviously the 8800GTS isn't the wise choice?.

I say wise choice but no matter what, you will be walking away with a nice card.
