Anti-wi-fi paint offers security

What a silly idea. What if the router is in the living room that has been painted and all the laptops/PCs are outside the living room, Then no one with their laptops/PCs in the bedrooms would be able to get access at all, the same with cordless phones which you have around the house too! Also isnt Wi-Fi capiable of broadcasting outside Windows too??

I read 'without having to set up encryption' in the second paragraph and facepalmed, don't even need to read the rest of the article to know it's stupid.

Created my own thread but never saw this one. Stupid idea if you ask me as it wil never be full secure like this. The cost idea as well will make it prohibative.

It's worth reading to the end just for the Cisco comment :)

Still, cutting out mobiles in cinemas etc. would seem viable. Not sure what a hospital would make of someone wanting to cover the walls in any form of iron oxide though.
