Will this PSU be safe to use?

Hi,

So I have to RMA my Corsair HX850 to the Netherlands, which hopefully take a week but maybe two. In the meantime I was going to use a PSU I put in my girlfriends little pc which is a OCN ModXstream Pro 600w. It needs to power the following:

2x HDD
2x SSD
1x optical drive
1x D5 pump
[email protected]
Z77X-UD3H
Evga 680
2x 4GB Genesis
4x Fans
Fan controller
2x LED strips

I am sure it will be fine but just wanted to check.

The OCZ will be fine.

I used to have the OCZ ModXstream and it lasted a very long time and was a decent power supply. For your build, it will power it fine.

Thanks as I thought, I did forget to mention 4xfans, 2 led strips and a fan controller but doubt they would make much difference.

To get a rough idea, look at the max amps for the device (fan, HDD), then multiply by voltage. Typically, a HDD is around 10W, a fan is around 2W (0.2A * 12V).

I think this is use not more than 400W..
