Made a thread about deciding between a fiat punto and a renault clio, but now i just can't decide!

Seen a Seat Leon for my price range, that looks nice, i do like a good interior so that can sway me a lot! Renault is beating fiat at the moment however.

Argh, i hate decisions!

MKII Mondeo

Nice drive, cheap parts, easy to fix, cheap ins and running costs and you'll get another 4 mates in it for some epic road trips.

A £1000 Seat Leon will literally be such a dog you'll hear it barking for miles around. £1k is not Seat Leon money.

You wont get many cars as 'modern' looking as a Leon for under a grand. You really cant be too picky when you dont have much to spend.

When I was in your position (in 2006) I bought a 1997 Renault Megane Classic for £1,400.
I still have it now. It's a shed, but it gets me to work and back :)

corsa, fiesta, clio, ka are your options

KA is a best bet but aim for not loads miles on it and also check for rust, they rust terribly their interiors arent the best but itll get you a decetn car that wont fall apart straight away for 1k....there are older corsa's and fiesta's that may actually have 'nice' interiors

You can get a good MK4 Fiesta for £800, better than a KA but the interior is still pretty naff :p

I got a nice wee 2001 Renault Megane Coupé 1.6 for 1,000 quid a few months back but then I had to go and wrap it around a lamp post. I loved that wee car :( Now driving a mazda 626.

Oh, I got the megane because it was the cheapest 'sporty' looking car that I could find and it worked out well :)
