Hey guys I've recently decided about buying a new pc after having a lot of fps issues with some new games that have been released.

I pretty much need to buy everything bar monitor and OS. Any help is greatly appreciated, cheers.

just buy a oc bundle good place to start.

all depends on what you want and what you really need.

god ive just had a quick look at what id get now and it soon racks up

This was linked in a different thread a few days back, it seems like a good starting point for me. As far as I can see all I would need is a hard drive? Then I have around £200 extra to spend on a few tweaks.

If you buy an oc bundle you are just basically paying ocuk to do the overclocking for you. It would be better putting the money towards parts and oc yourself imo.

i myself didnt get a bundle and just jumped in and why not. thats what learnings all about int it.

Black ops 2 and Guild Wars 2 mainly, play some Assassin's Creed, Skyrim, etc on the side.

i have an antec 300 mid size atx case and a 7950 with two fans on it and it only just fits.

mine plays battlefield with everthing on at round about 60 i think i havnt played really since i got new gpu

ive played borderlands and it gets into the 100`s

someone on here will give you a proper benchmark as mine is a bit older than yours would be

Depends if you need anything else ? i.e mouse, keyboard, speakers etc. Otherwise the above build with the 7950 looks good to me. The nzxt case has a removeable hard drive cage if you need more room for a longer gpu, although it wouldnt hurt to ask in the 'cases' section.

I have everything like that, was just talking about any upgrades to the parts I posted before.

And yeah, I'm going to ask tomorrow morning about the case size/gpu issue.

Looks good, You getting a HDD too i assume? Maybe a bigger SSD or a second 7950

chosen this HDD, seems like the best option for me.

Don't you think a second 7950 might be a bit overkill? My only goal with buying this new pc was to be able to play the "higher spec" games without fps issues.

A bigger SSD might be an option though, I'll look into it.

If you can afford it look into a 256gb SSD to put more games on etc, it doesn't have to be 6gb/s, mine's a 3 gb/s one, but it just speeds it up hugely.
