Is this too far for a decent adsl connection?

Looking at 16mb Sky Max.

It shouldn't be but the actual route the cables take could be much longer.

nah should be fine, I am just over 2miles & get 10mbs with BE

With a Broadcom chipset modem such as the Speedtouch 780WL issued by BE you should with luck get at least 8000. I am with ukonline and am 3 and 1/2 kils from the exchang as the line goes (not the bird) and I get 8000/768 with adsl
