My friend is looking for some RAM and I've recommended him "Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 XMS3 Dominator Memory CL9"

However, he has this motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5 790FX Socket AM3 8 Channel Audio ATX MOtherboard

Which in the specifications it says:
4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory

The RAM is shown as 1.65v ?

Is it still compatible?
Thanks for any replies.

They will work fine, 1.5v is the STD voltage, he will need to manually adjust the voltage to 1.65v in the BIOS :)
