1 x PC, 1 x Xbox 360... but only 1 x monitor

My Samsung 1080 monitor only has one DVI input, and I use it for both my PC's DVI out and with an Xbox 360 HDMI converter.

Problem is my monitor only has one input socket, so I have to keep manually switching them over.

Any easy solutions other than spending a fortune on a switching box??

PS Read Dead Redemption is doing a great job of killing time waiting for the AMD 69** series :D

A 1080p monitor with only ONE input!?

Possibly, HDMI from the 360 in to your graphics card and DVI out to your monitor? I'm not even sure if that's possible. And it would require your PC to be on whenever you want to play the Xbox.

A switch would be your best bet here.
I use the 360 VGA cable to connect to my monitor, but mine has a VGA and DVI socket on the back. I'm surprised you only have 1 socket.

In hindsight, I should have bought a monitor with at least 2 x inputs, but nevermind! Samsung P2370 (I think without checking) that does everything else perfectly.

How much for a switcher, and where's best to buy from?

I paid £22 for my new one. Very good quality other than the remote not working as I said.
I got it from another e-retailer. I'm not sure I should mention other retailers on here, but they have a White and Orange website :P

Get an hdmi switch box. Use you hdmi lead to 360 to hdmi switch box, dvi-hdmi lead to hdmi switch box and GPU, dvi-hdmi to hdmi to switch box and then to monitor.
