As the title suggest you can now select alternative lower resolutions and still have 120hz active.previously on my set up at least 120 hz was only available at 1920x1080.
Just incase it`s a monitor/craphics card specific addition i have an ASUS 23.6" VG236H 120HZ and 5870 x-fire and have tried lots of the available resolutions and they all seem to use 120 hz
.Useful addition for people who`s card may not be able to pump out the frames per sec at 1920x1080.
