10.9 Cat's out today?

ive always installed over the top with ati drivers , but since 10.5 all i would get is blue screen on boot up and have to roll back . Today ive unistalled old driver first ( 10.4a ) Then popped 10.9s on and my 2x5770 are running great . So happy days

so whats the verdict with these drivers? i installed 10.9 and everything is working brilliantly. what about these 9.10a's tho? thy better? link?

10.5 and above my 4870x2 just bluescreens with them all. These new drivers i think have hardly been properly tested on the 4 series and are more for the 5 series

Nah not true bud as i have a 4870x2 too and put on 10.9a going from 10.5 and my coms been rock solid the same as it was with 10.5

It's easy to blame a single driver but often the truth is not that simple.

Seek seek and you shall find, apparentley. 10.9a hotfix sorted out my overscan issue but caused major problems with software i use. 10.9 sorted the software issue but overscan is playing up once again lol. So in my case the 10.9a hotfix driver was to blame, it's simple and that's the truth . Other than that, CCC 10.9 + 10.9 CAP rock.

I'am still running 10.4 as it made my 5770's in crossfire work for the first time so i'll stick with 10.4 for the time being haha

Notice how it's always the same people with problems month after month? Also notice the same people not having problems month after month

I've been thinking that my self, really does reinforce the possibility of it being PEBKAC.
