100.54 Now on Nvidia site

Are these exactly the same as the ones that where leaked?

Will download them when I get home for my 8800GTS.

AWESOME, they released a beta driver just what i was waiting for...

Windows Vista 32-bit

ForceWare Release 100
Version: 100.54
Release Date: January 30, 2007
Beta Driver

Not...

Ill stick with xp : :D

Might as well wait till tomorrow....

DirectX 9 and OpenGL NVIDIA SLI support for GeForce 8800 GPUs will be available on January 31, 2007 in a new driver from NVIDIA

Seem to be the same drivers as yesterdays 100.54s.

I am gobsmacked as to how lacking they are with regards to video controls considering the amount of time they have had to work on these drivers.

There are no options, other than HDTV mode, for controlling the quality of the video output etc. HTPC owners, like myself, running 8800 cards will be very disappointed.

Lets see what tomorrows driver release brings apart from SLi.

i hope its a new driver with improvments and not just .54 with sli support repackaged under a new number :/

is anyone able to confirm if these are the same as the ones leaked or are they just signed?

cheers

I'm certainly reading the release notes to mean:

Grab driver now
or
Wait until tomorrow and grab the SLI version.

I'm certainly not reading it as "Grab a driver now and then grab an all new one tomorrow" - because in that case they may just as well wait until tomorrow to release the whole thing.

I'm willing to bet they hadn't intended to release this driver at all. It's just that they've missed the deadline for the SLI release, so they had to put something up today.

Does this mean quake 4 and doom3 will finally be playable on 32 bit? I heard the reason for the shizzle happening with that was because of open GL not being compatible... probably made to be incompatible by microsoft if you ask me.

well im back on 100.30, these 100.54's caused all sorts of problems, this is typical nvidia cr@p, i remember when i got a pair of 6800ultras, it took almost 6 months before the drivers did everything that they should do.
