100 day transformation

I'm up for the gym at this time of the morning, wish me luck lol I'll probably do an HIIT just now then resistance this afternoon. Then rest til 4pm tomorrow for more cardio (missing out the "early shift")

Third weigh in today, done my diet wrong recently so lost 2KG since last weigh in but also put on 1% body fat again. Upping the calories again and making sure I'm eating right rather than eating low!

Eating right is the key thing you need to focus on but you do need to eat enough also.

If you want my honest advice, stay well away from protein shakes when trying to lose weight. You can get plenty of protein through foodstuffs and while building muscle is great your primary goal is weight loss.

You do not need shakes to lose weight and I personally think they add un-neccessary complexion. Not just timing but the type of protein you are taking also. Shakes should never be a main meal replacement in a weight loss routine either.

my advise after losing a shed load of weight is to stay active! its not just about the gym and the diet. its moving throughout the day. so many of us on this forum have IT jobs... desk at work, desk and home... yes me might work out and do sport, but that is small % compared to arse sitting.

get a dog! my weight is much more stable now, 3 walks a day or the mutt eats the sofa - fact!

Couldnt agree more. I've become much more active outside of the gym. Go for walks along beach, cycling and running. :)

Its so easy to become complacent, that was my downfall.

Would love to get a dog if we weren't in rented accommodation I'd be all over that idea. Definitely moving around more and walking now and watching what I am eating.

Regarding the protein shakes, I'm eating more food and only having a protein shake after the weights workouts now. Currently on holiday for 2 weeks and live nowhere near my gym so put the challenge on hold but starting back up again in a weeks time.

yeah keep moving, its an odd thing 'we' work in offices, live indoors and then *drive* to the gym to exercise. (general statement)

i have been able to cut my gym out all and all and just do footy 3 times a week... which i really enjoy, and very active during the day. walk to the shops at lunch is 20mins each way ect ect...

All progress is good progress  keep it up!

Just a note it may be worth having a look online first as it tends to be a lot cheaper when ordering protein . www.myprotein.com tend to be one of the best for value if you use the code "MP514098" it will grant you another 5% off your first order . You can also use the pricematcher on the front page to lower the cost more take a look at the supplements thread.

I used your member code to register for MP. Made a purchase so it'll be delivered on Monday :)
