Hi , Got £100 , not a penny more.

Narrowed it down to 3 from OCUK.

Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 XT 256MB GDDR3 £94 (in B-Grade section).
Leadtek GeForce 8600 GT Extreme 256MB GDDR3 £93.99.
Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB GDDR3 £93.99.

Play games at 1280x1024 (although monitor goes upto 2048x1536) such as Oblivion and Silent Hunter IV.

What do you think.

[email protected] , 2Gigs DDR2 800 , 7300GT

Out of those 3 cards, I think the X1900XT is the best, but the problem is its B-Grade so I'm not sure what the warranty etc is like on it.

You might also find a X1950Pro with 512mb rather than 256mb elsewhere for the smae price too.

Still, the X1900XT is the best out of that bunch.

Look around at some of the recent threads on graphics cards, many just like yours.

Shame there isn't Private Messaging on this forum :(

I would say the 8600GT then that gives you the option at a later date to buy another one if performance isnt up to scratch. Should be fine as it is to play those games and the like...

The x1900 is the best out of those, but i think B-Grade warranty is only about 7 or 14 days, so if you don't want to take the chance on that then id go for the x1950pro, as that will easily handle 1280x1024 as well, and is also faster than the 8600 which is crippled by only being 128bit, but if your willing to take then the x1900 is the way to go as its the much faster card.

I just thought I'd say you can get a Sapphire ATI X1950XT 256MB GDDR3 VIVO dual DVI PCI-E Graphics Card new for £105.95 not including delivery. Obviously I can't say where from, but, google does wonders.

That surely beats the lottery of buying a b-grade item.

I wanted to say that null void... but I actually removed all recommendations out of mine lol.

But yeah what he said and no more.. you don't pay delivery either.

I will edit my post if necessary.
