£1000 budget exlcuding GPU

Hi All,

I recently got a nvidia 3060ti founders edition and looking to build a gaming pc.

My budget for the PC is around £800 - £1000 excluding GPU. If possible I would like to be able to game at 1440p(not sure if 3060ti will be powerful enough) and will also be used for programming. Any recommendations much appreciated and thanks for your time.

Do you need a monitor, keyboard, mouse?

Thanks everyone for the replies, has been really useful.

I do have a follow up question about some of the options and I see mainly people are suggesting micro ATX boards and just wondered if this is just because they are better value for the level I am looking at?
