it says on the VM site that the dudley hub is now able to run 100mb but when i use my postcode to check if i can receive it, it still says only 50mb.

do any vm techs know? difficult to phone up at moment as working 7am-7:30pm this week

Same here for Gillingham, update says that it's 100meg enabled but when I enter my post code it still says I can only get 50meg.

it might be that the website hasn't been updated yet. As far as I'm aware, once the UBR is done at the local headend, that should be it (but that's not my area) if you trust me your postcode, I can have a quick look

I live in Dudley and my street is literally like 50 metres away from the area that has VM and can get 50MB/100MB internet..me on the other hand..5MB lol..so ****, count yourself lucky!!!

I have had rubbish 7meg broadband in the past. I don't think either of us are moaning about what we can get or that 50meg is not good, more just looking forward to getting the 100meg. It's just a case of Virgin roll out planner saying its enabled where we live but not when we enter our post codes.

I am in the Dudley area and recently had 50mb installed around 2 months ago.

I was told by the tech, 100mb is available if I fancied it. For me though, I don't need it and prefer 50mb due to no shaping of downloads

100mb is now available for myself.

I'm currently using 200mbps Homeplugs. will these still be acceptable for 100mb speeds?

Also, with regard to a new router as don't want to use VM's HUB (unleess things have improved dramatically) what could people recommend as an alternative.
