1080p LCD Teles confused

Im thinking of upgrading to a 46in lcd, but there are so many models out there,an anyone shed some light on which ones are the best, primarily for gaming and watching blue ray movies?. I have been looking at the SHARP LC46X20E, or the SAMSUNG LE46F86BDX, i have a thousand budget.

Samsung M86/7 should do you nicely at that price - they're going cheap as Samsung are launching their new models now (series 5/6/7 TVs)
