Hi guys, i wonder if you can help. I have just purchased a 460GTX and i am unable to send a 1080p signal to my Samsung 32inch tv. Whenever i select 1080p my tv states that it is not supported, windows then reverts the signal to 1080i.

I am using the mini dvi adaptor that came with the graphics card. I am also using the 158.96 drivers.

Any suggests most welcome.

Ps this screen worked fine on my previous 4850 card.

Check the back of you TV to see which HDMI port is marked up as DVI. On my Sansung I can only use 1 port as a 'proper' monitor port, all the rest just give me HDTV options that don't give as nice a picture.

I have read on a few sites that the issues im experiencing may be due to the Nvidia drivers sending the wrong edid informaiton to the TV. Does this sound like it could be the issue? and if so how would i go about setting the correct information?

Just to let you know that a few people have been using cheap HDMI leads and having problems with 1080p. I also had problems with sound when i used a cheap HDMI lead so if you have a spare one give it a try or even if you can borrow one off someone just to test it. If you put HDMI into wikipedia you can see all the different versions of HDMI leads and you can see a lot of differences between them.
