I am looking to replace the stock EVGA fan on my Hybrid with a NF-A12x25 FLX. I want to plug the fan into the 3-pin gpu cable header rather than the motherboard. Is anyone aware of any issues doing it this way? would using the U.L.N.A. / L.N.A. adaptors cause any issues?

I have replaced the stock fan on on the radiator with a corsair sp120 and connected to the lead that comes out of the hybrid as standard. though this fan/connection seems to run along side the pump speed.
if you removed the stock cover you can get access to the unused gpu fan connector on the board, you just need a adaptor ( EK do one)(https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-cable-pwm-fan-adapter-for-gpu-50cm-wc-9d9-ek.html) to 3pin fan then you can have the gpu control it, even set the fan profiles within precision x.

I'm not looking to open it up tbh I don't mind the fan running at a set speed (no idea why Evga did not include a 4 pin pwm connector in the first place!), but it is good to know that this can be resolved with the linked pwm cable.
