flash the bios to the 64 version, to get faster clock speeds with a little less power usage and saving £110 odd, plus a freesync gaming monitor with 75hz mac refresh rate

gtx 1070 is a bit over kill for 1080p 60hz and so is vega 56 but least with that monitor its got a rater refresh rate and in synced to the card but smoother gaming . although worth upscale on both cards to 1440p!

check out the 56 owners thread . and push him to 1440p freesync ! about £250 odd i believe for near Gtx 1080 performance with the flash and right overclocking. but bare in mind its the blower cooler for sound etc etc

I, personally, would prefer a quality gold PSU such as the Super Flower Green over the budget EVGA paired with the VEGA (considering - future clocking of CPU and GFX)

No worries, the quality 550W will be ample for the above spec - even with the addition of a future SSD.
