Surely be much better off getting a 12700k and then jumping to Raptor Lake than just spending almost the same on 1 chip that will be beaten within the year.

as intel always do, yes but it is a way to get your hands on one of the best samples in the SKU rather than going down the lottery route.so just a way to pump a little more money out of the lineup
