The front 12V connector in my Focus is broken, it's not a fuse problem but something is most likely bent at the bottom due to careless insertion of a device by my GF

Does anyone know if it will be easy to replace/fix by myself or should I go to the dealer to get it fixed?

Never done one on a focus but they normally pull out with a little bit of force, think they have little locking lugs on. The new one will push straight back in.

So it's fixed with a connector and not soldered?

I am a little worried that if I pull on the socket I pull on the wires and mess them up.
