I'm looking at increasing my cooling on my case it's cm690ii i have the OEM fan in the front as in take and another 120mm fan as in take from the bottom the rest is a H80 as push/pull so exhaust.

At some point i'll be installing the h100i i picked up and mounting that at the top as exhaust ( i know opinions are divided on this subject but im pretty sure there's not enough clearance for me to do push on the radiator)

So i was thinking of getting some 140mm silent fans to intake from the bottom of the case so where do i start has any one got any suggestions of fans?

Most of the fans that are actually silent or close to don't tend to be that great for pushing air through a rad.

I'm quite a big fan of the akasa apaches for when silence is the primary concern but given the price of them theres quite a big variation in quality - out of every 5 I've bought 2 have been no different to any other average quiet fan.

If you don't mind a bit of noise then the corsairs do push a lot of air through rads well with good ratios of noise to airflow but they definitely aren't quiet.

Sorry if it wasn't clear the 2 x140mm fans im looking at getting wont be used on the radiator it will just be placed on the bottom of the case as intakes.
I'll have to read up on the Akasa Apaches thanks!!

any one else got any suggestions?
