1440p Monitor for Starfield and 1080p office - Is it possible?

I have a Nvidia 2080Ti and play Starfield mainly and openworld MMO. I have an old Benq 60hz 24" monitor that isnt up to it anymore.

I need a new 27" 1440p monitor for gaming and office that isnt curved. The office laptop can only do 1080p over USB-c or HDMI. The 2080Ti has DP and HDMI.

I am looking at this price range and have these in mind? Are there any watchouts that you can think of?

So when I am connected to laptop in 1080p on the 27" monitor the text and excel and work documents might look rubbish?

I run two 24" HD monitors currently from both the work laptop and gaming PC. I need to swap out the one monitor that is now starting to have lines on cold start up and takes 10 mins to warm up and get a clear screen.

I am surprised that Overclockers don't stock Dell monitors.

I pulled the trigger on the Dell G2724D...

The monitor is fantastic at handling the laptop at 1080p and Starfield at 1440p. You can set a two button switch as well for fast input source changing.

Overlockers need to stock this monitor its a beast.
