Looking to get a new monitor with a display port input since my new PC has DisplayPort and HDMI and neither of my current old (excess 10 years) ones has anything bar DVI/d-sub.
Got the list down to an Acer XF240QS or an AsusVG249Q, the Asus is just over £200 and Acer just under. The Acer is TN panel and Asus IPS which are the main difference I can see, I'm be using it for both work (connecting via USB C hub) and gaming on the machine in my signature mostly War Thunder atm but is a mix of fps and rts gaming.
Other than the price they seem the same so any advice/other models would be cool. Acer comes with a DP cable which saved a few quid but not a deal-breaker too.
