£150, 02 and Pay As You Go

Hello,

I'm in need of a new phone. I fancy a change from my Panasonic VS6 and I'm having a bit of trouble finding a phone that looks anywhere near decent.

A big part of me would like the N80, but with my budget and 'Pay As You Go' side of things, that's a big no no.

Can anyone suggest a decent Pay As You Go, 02 phone for around £150?

Must have polyphonic ringtones, colour screen, Internet and 2 megapixel (min) camera.

At this rate I'm not sure it would be worth switching phone.

In regards to the Sony Ericsson W850i, has there been a price released for it yet?

It looks like a really nice phone.

Nope not yet as far as i know, perhaps due for a release Aug/Sept time. Im looking to get one as well, tis a nice phone.

As for your previous q??, what about the SE W810i??, great little phone...im extremely impressed with mine. Nice camera and plays mp3s quite well and the bundled headphones are very good suprisingly...in fact i prefer them over my shure £60 in ear phones tbh.

Carphone Warehouse seems to think that the W850i will be out sometime later this month.

It might be best to wait until then, before acting - but the 810i is quite nice as well.

Might be but then SE are notorious when it comes to release dates, prime example is the p990i which was supposedly going to released in Jan...never happened then they said most likely July....july is more or less gone and now they have said its due for release in August so we will see.

Id take it with a rather big pinch of salt tbh when it comes to release dates tbh.

The W850i wont be out til August I don't think at the earliest.... I don't think you would be able to get that phone for £150 but that's just a guess.. I'd imagine that O2 would be charging £200+ for it.

I'm just going by what CW said - I know the general consensus on release dates though - they mean very little.

I heard word that the phone is going to be £200 - It might be worth splashing out the extra £50 for it when the time comes around.

I'll wait and see the developments. Don't want to buy a phone than the following week, that one is released.

Something similar happened with my Ipod.
