16 year old bullying a Syrian refugee with a broken arm, choking and waterboarding him

So i'm going to just believe it on the grounds that Huddersfield and this particularly ****** school is probably not a great place anymore.

If every crime and assault was video'd, the police would have such an easy time it'd be like clockwork to get people prosecuted and the government would have no choice but to do something about the seemingly violent wave of idiots... but they aren't even in today's lovely camera-ridden world, almost none of it is captured and almost none of it is dealt with.

I'm glad this episode of immigrant bashing has annoyed the right-wing at least, frothing at the mouth in this thread over the money rather than the violence, is just sad, dementing and cruel.

God, so much frothing and bitterness from the usual lot. I expected the the standard anti foreigner sentiments just because the kid is Syrian but i didn't expect the shameless jealousy for money freely donated by the public.

If people are freely willing to give the kid cash, then good for him. Don't think he deserves the money, dont donate - pretty simple.

Do you have anything interesting to say about the situation, rather than attacking fellow forum members?
 
I think the point they are getting at, if this was a white person attacking/bullying a white person nobody would be donating money, the money is only donated because the victim is not white.
 
Seems they are looking at properties in nicer areas :) But reading this Guardian article it looks like the move will still be funded by the tax payer, despite a tax free gift fast approaching and liable to exceed one hundred and fifty thousand pounds...

Tasnime Akunjee, a solicitor representing the family, said they were considering moving away from the area and had received offers to be rehomed in Oxford.

He said the couple’s daughter, who attends the same school, had been bullied by another group of pupils. Last week someone forcibly removed the girl’s hijab. On Tuesday a girl was excluded from the school over the incident.

Akunjee said the family had contacted him and their local MP, Barry Sheerman, a month ago. “The family had concerns about their children and the environment their children were in at school. They weren’t sure how to engage assistance because of the language barrier. We were so concerned about these children that we contacted the school, council and the local police.”

Well id id have four other posts if you search the thread. I find it easier to say something negative about some of these posters than smack talk a bullied kid because i didn't get free money.

It may differ from the 'phoar, you can bully me for 40k!' but you know, im fine with that

If this was any other non white they wouldn't get money though.

People on this thread make it sound like you just get money thrown at you for being a minority and that this kid getting bullied and receiving 100k is some sort of society standard. Fact is, this isn't about him being white or non white - he just got lucky.

If he didn't - then where is my 100k for being brown

I don't agree.

It's because the herd have got hold of it, it's gained momentum and can't be stopped. It'll fizzle out, but that's what I think has happened here. We see it all the time on the internet now, as soon as something trends it gets huge because everyone wants to be part of it.

That and the mentality of our society is "If I throw money at it, that'll fix it. Plus I can brag about being such a generous **** on social media."

I think the herd have only clinged onto it likely because the victim is Syrian and they've used emotive language like "waterboarding" even though it's nothing of the sort. The borg left wouldn't care or virtue signal in the same way if it wasn't a 'minority' being victimised by an oppressive white male.

How many homeless people do you walk past every day and ignore? There's a good reason why that video never got attention, we're numb to homeless people. (for various valid/invalid reasons)
 
Why are they being compared? Is this a "my dad is bigger then your dad" type argument?

Why do you have an issue with this Syrian family having a go fund me page?
