It wasn't waterboarding, everyone knows that. He had water squirted in his face for a second or two.

You're missing the point - again - they're asking why other people feel the need to start a fund for this kid but not others who have suffered similar treatment. What's so special about this kid and not the thousands of others? They're arguing that this treatment doesn't warrant a fund being set up. Hence why they haven't set one up for others.
But charity doesn't work like that, I'm not a big one for giving money to causes but if I'm moved by some guys plight and decide to slip him a cheeky £20 why does that need to be weighed up against all other incidents of injustice and people falling on hard times that exist? Just because I give to one cause and not another doesn't invalidate my contribution, and the existence of other worthy causes doesn't compel me to fund them all at the risk of being called a hypocrite. That argument is akin to to classic "Well what's the point of fixing x because y is worse!", the existence of y doesn't mean x isn't a problem worth solving.
Come on man, he had him by the throat on the ground, water all on his face so he choked more so.

next time someone spills a pint on you... claim you were water boardedHe had like 200ml of water "squirted" into his face, yep that sure is waterboarding.
And how does giving this kid money solve any problem relating to him having been bullied?
If you want to donate money in regards to bullying there are a number of charities that deal with various aspects of the issue. Give it to them so they can help many instead of just one.
Thats a really good, persuasive argument. I might have to pinch it.![]()
Sometimes i give money or food to homeless people, would that money be better utilised by a large charity? Maybe
And how does giving this kid money solve any problem relating to him having been bullied?
Unlikely. Our society is so ****** that big charities exist to pay for their executive wages
Well they just announced they will use the money to relocate to a different area so hopefully he lands up in a school/area where he doesn't get bullied, no guarantee though.
So apparently he and a load of his mates were beating up a girl and he bit her in the head, and this kid gave him a brief kicking to teach him a lesson. According to Facebook and some potentially dubious sources.
