How long has it been like this?

Happened to my connection, was down to a faulty router that kept disconnecting itself in which case the line reduced itself when it sees constant disconnections to stabilise itself, mine was almost bang on what speed you're getting, keep an eye on it.

What ISP are you with and how long has it been happening?
 
With orange at the moment, should be 3.5 mb line give or take 500 mb. It has been very poor over the last few days maybe slightly more. I have only been connecting at 1390mb's which is when this test was done.

Im now connected (according to router) at 3072 kbps and im still getting higher uploads than downloads :(
 
Mmm, gotta love congestion! :)

We're currently moving a customer away from Demon. They sync at 7128 yet they never get more than 50KB/s during office hours! :D
 
Has anyone got a different router you can try?,

Are you connected to the master socket as well to rule out internal wiring problems?

I was told after you change something you need to wait about 72 hours as thats how long the line will take before it sorts itself out if there is a problem at your end.
