Hey,

So.. I took the plunge and purchased the 1950x and the Aorus Gaming 7 board which is due to arrive this morning.

I was randomly looking at other sites this morning and noticed a large supplier had the 1950x as discontinued, in previous days it had been listed as out of stock.

However the 1920x was still listed.

Is discontinued a bad use of words on their website for being totally out of stock with no back order or is there something I’ve missed about this chip lately?

Cheers.

No doubt it'll be their software for none stock items showing as that, there's been no official news afaik that states they are ending production.

If that particular website starts with an E then they are a bunch of jokers, and i would never use their services, they are owned by Plusnet, another bunch of jokers. Stick with OCUK, atleast you will have the peace of mind that if theres any issues it will get sorted with minimal fuss and hassle and they will ensure you are 1000% satisfied.

That other outfit, they are about as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle.

Cheers for the replies. Obviously didn't want to sink over a grand into new hardware if the support was going to get worse instead of better.

I don't tend to use them, and probably never would if the OCUK next day wasn't a 4pmish cut off. Most of my impulse buys seem to be in the evening :p.

Then again who can turn down the free Haribo with OCUK? My watercooling kit this week was loaded with Haribo, however when I ordered the TR4 block they skimped out with one packet! ;)

Same here. £3k on a rig and 1 bag of Haribo!!!!!!!!!!

@Gibbo can we get some clarification on the Haribo distribution? it seems out of whack! multiple bags for ordering minor kit like a few sticks of ram or a cpu cooler, 1 bag for order mass amounts of kit over £1k etc? i think you need to take a look at the QC on your Haribo distribution my friend! Consistency is key here ;)

brought a ryzen 1700, taichi motherboard, 16 GB of 3600MHz 8Pack ram and a CPU block...no haribo at all, and this was delivered on my birthday :(

The next day I ordered 2 metres of tubing at a value of £6 with free postage, and got two bags of haribo :D
