PC's failure rate is a lot less then any console.

Also he said you can't upgrade a console to make it better. So even though they don't need upgrading, it also means they stay a long way behind hardware wise.

So yes no xbox game is native 1080p they are 720p. The xbox can only upscale, and on a lot of games does a poor job. Back in the day the xbox was a very good piece of kit, but today it is showing it's age.

'gamerdude' used the word console various times in his post, he clearly wasn't specifically talking about the 360. Nonetheless, there are quite a few 1080p native games on the 360 too.

Where's the stats to prove that PCs fail less than 'any' console? PC components fail all the time, then there's various other conflicts and errors that can occur. My consoles have never failed, my PCs often have. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy PC gaming, but it's just a hassle you have to accept as part of it.
 
i7 and 1366x768. not good

128 player BF3 will be where its at. No Starcraft 2 or Trackmania on console either. Or Portal 2

F1 2011 looks 100 times better in 2560 x 1440, 8xAA than it does on console - and plays faster!

i can clearly see both sides. as i own both, pc and console.

sorry "the voice", as you will notice from right at the start of the topic. he was comparing a 1k pc with an xbox. i was mearly continuing with the subject.
and i was on about getting red lights etc. so obviously i was meaning xbox.......
i never once mentioned a ps3 in my disputes..
 
I don't know why anyone would want to limit themself to only 1 platform tbh. There are great games available for both PC and consoles.
Obviously you'll get better graphics/framerate on a decent PC (if the game isn't lazily ported over) but those aren't what make a good game, unless you are a graphics whore who doesn't give a **** about gameplay that is...

The comment above "1900x1200 or above, anything less is wasting your time"...
LOL? :confused: Get over yourself. Far too many people in here have their heads jammed firmly up their own rear.
 
oh im a graphics w***e for sure.....

Well mostly.... When it comes to COD, good graphics is nice to see. but not essential, they dont have to be crysis, blow other games away kinda graphics.. gameplay is important too.
