Hey, what was your first ever game you played on a Xbox 360 and please discuss about your first impressions.

For me: GoW (testing 360 for xmas for 5 minutes)
Impression: WOW (size 30+) Graphics absolutely blew me away, even looked good at 480i on a 42" SDTV.

Was COD2 demo, in a shop before it was released. Thought that the graphics were good, buit the gameplay seemed lacking. Kept dying and when you restarted you had a long bit with you in a car which was annoying. Still got the proper game though and loved it.

Same with me. I remember going into the local video rental shop by accident and seeing the 360 kiosk there so I immediately jumped on and had a go. No-one else in the shop was aware of what it was as they weren't paying it much attention. I was very impressed seeing CoD2 running on the Samsung display panel they used.

When I bought my own console, it would have been Hexic that I played first and then Oblivion or GRAW.

First game I played was Hexic I believe... First 'proper' game was Condemned which is still one of my favourites, quite possibly the most atmospheric game I have ever played.

If I were to recommend a game for someone to play on an xbox 360 for the first time, it would be GoW

first game i played on a 360 was PGR3 at i26, was amazing, my friend and i were like ''omg''

then the samsung panel exploded infront of us

but for a game that will rock your socks off it has to be gears of war, and i'll say that's a fact for the time being!

Mine was Fight Night Round 3, this was on my 360, i was blown away by it even being a EA game!

I bought my 360 in march, i didn't buy one before as the stalls were rubbish and made the 360 look pants imo.

Test Drive Unlimited. Only game ive played so far, not really touched PGR or GoW.

Absolutely love it, the freedom to do what you want is brilliant, it reminds me of what driver was about before it went rubbish. Only had the 360 about 5 days and already got it 30% complete.

First game I played was PGR3. First impressions were that I sucked at the game :) Loved the gameplay itself though.

I didn't really make too many observations about the graphics other than that they were great overall.

PGR3 - much prettier than PGR2, but I preferred the gameplay of the latter, so I didn't go very far through.

Bought my 360 last week and the 1st game I put in the drive was GoW - played it for about 5 mins before turning it off and playing Splinter Cell Double Agent instead. I just found the whole gettin used to a controller for GoW too much to endure altho I am now coming out of my shell a lil more and playing it online :)

COD2, Demo I think it was running on one of the 360 kiosks. I thought it look great for a console game, but I had recently played COD2 demo on my PC and thought PC version looked slightly better.
Still love COD2 on 360 though. One of my favorite games! ;)

Kameo
Was a good game til it was finished. No replayability, didn't care about the graphics. Still haven't played a 360 on an HDTV.

Did you go through and get all the achievements first go? I would say a game's replayable until you got them all at least.

I only started Kameo recently, (on the last boss now :D) and that was after I brought Gears Of War and I was totatly blown away with it, really nice colourfull graphics, nice animation, I was more impressed with it than Gears Of War because I hyped myself up for that too much where as I was expecting Kameo to be rubbish but was pleasently suprised.

Thats a good couple of games you got there for a first go on a 360, you'll definitly have to tell what you thought of them and the console, wish I had some more cash for COD3 <stares into emtpy wallet> :(

Defiantly not worth 40 odd quid anyway. COD2 is a lot better.

COD3 has more impressive battle scenes, well so i thought.
Just be aware lads that COD3 does seem to lock up and freeze on some peoples systems so its not your X360 dying on you if it happens...
