1st Car Insurance well over 2k!!

I used Confused.com for my first car (Proton Persona 1.4 auto) and they hooked me up with KwikFit insurance (a broker for Zurich) for £800 TPFT that was for a disabled driver with no NCD, I would have expected yours to be lower O.o

Why do you expect vast swathes of money to come off your insurance each year? £500 is as cheap as you'll get at your age.
