1st phone in 7 years :P upgrade advice needed

My Google Nexus 4 is struggling with everyday life I was gonna buy another (as it served me well) but apparnetly nexus dont exist anymore lol so i went looking around & i dont recognise half the brands out there anymore lol, can anyone reccomend an upgrade for me (im a simply guy, call/text/web browsing/steam app is about all i use a phone for) I have a BT sim that id rather not change.

Well, the equivalent is perhaps the new Pixel 5? Hmm, or maybe actually a Pixel 4a, which I think can be had for a bargain around now.

Another recommendation for the Pixel 4a here. If the £350 rrp (or whatever sale price you can find it at) is too rich or too poor, post back with your budget.

Another vote for the 4a-currently £320 and will give you a great experience.

I loved my Nexus 4.

Worth considering the 4a(5G) if keeping the phone for 7 years again?

Although I stream a ton of YouTube and I'm still using 3G and works perfectly fine.
