1tb nvme vs SATA

I currently own a 1tb 850EVO sata and can pick up a Toshiba XG3 1TB NVME for a decent price. About to do a system rebuild anyway with an 8700k.

Is it worth the hassle ? I'll be gaming, video editing and copying plenty of large files around.

As a replacement? I'd say not worth it.
If you want 2xbig SSD drives and the price is right why not.

Should be beneficial when video editing and using the nvme drive as the scratch disk.

vid-eds tho will like the fast disk but will more appreciate RAm, so go from 8 to 16 or 16 to 32 .. you wont notice the difference in speed between good sata ssd and good nvme ssd, from what I have gathered. why not get another 1tb sata ssd? that way copys etc could double in speed as going from a to b rather than a to a
