It's a tricky one, if muslims keep committing misogynistic hate crimes and we keep talking about it, some people are going to wrongly suspect muslims as being more liable to commit misogynistic hate crimes.

I thought it was that each time a person has been raped is what was recorded, instead of all of them being lumped into one.

So if a woman in Sweden is raped hundreds of times (over a period of time, in a relationship, lets say) each and every time she is raped is recorded.

If she was raped 250 times over the course of time by her 'partner' then 250 rapes go down as recorded.

In other countries not every rape is recorded like that... it just goes in the book as a single rape statistic.

There are similar statistics for Sweden.

It is controlled? So what is the fuss at Calais then? This thread is about those immigrants there trying to get into the UK is it not?

I am saying if they want to get into this country, let them try through the right process(as I am not against immigration). However, if they are failing to get in through the correct process there is obviously a reason.

These immigrants at Calais clearly can't get into our country through the right process and therefore try to get in illegally. Often causing misery to the public (lorry drivers/ users of the tunnel/ police/ immigration officers/ etc). Sod everyone else as long as I get to the UK, illegally. Do I want these people coming into our country. No.

Now stop repeating yourself about me being a xenophobe in an attempt to make it true...

Now please highlight my irrationality. Want to get asylum in this country? Apply for it. Don't have it granted, tough luck. Try to enter it illegally? Send them back. Same goes for us Brits trying to do the same in any other country.
