Which would be faster in a dell studio 16 laptop?

Whats the real world performance of a 1.6 i7 mobile?

i7 will probably be faster overall. What will you be using it for? Cause for general tasks, the difference will either be minimal or not worth the extra.

Well the i7 one is about £30 dearer, but has a better RGB led monitor and 2gb less ram (4gb instead of 6gb).

Just using it for day to day computer, play a few games and stuff.

Do they both come with the same GPU? 6Gb won't make much difference for daily tasks and games. The RGBLED screen would be nice as well. I'd go with the i7 if it has the same GPU.

The i7 will turbo boost up to 2.8 so it's a no brainer IMO. Hyperthreading too!

The i7 is a way better choice and btw I really recommend the 1920x1080 screen, it's fantastic.

For £30 for what you're getting the I7 makes more sense. If you were thinking of upgrading it'd be another story.
