In the havok of moving house, one of my Crossfire bridges has done a runner from the PC spares box, so i am running the 4770's with a single bridge. does this make any difference at all to the link between them? or is a single providing sufficent bandwidth?

Cheers

Ben

Hi, this has been discussed a few times, ATI say you should run 2, and I personally always have, but I know others on here have never used 2 and always used 1, and if you had tri xfire, youd only have connection bewteeen each card anyway. Not sure if it effects performance at all but yeah it will work fine

Only ever used 1. Works perfectly. All framerates comparable to internet review benchmarks.

one time the card went wrong and I changed the band to the other 'connectors' and it worked perfectly again. Not sure why...
