If you don't mind me asking, why do you need three monitors? Do you need the two smaller monitors to be the same height as the 2407?

I'm looking for something similar. I'm probably just going to go for the one Dell 2007FP 20.1" TFT as it has the same design and the vertical height and pixels will match.

Maybe a dumb question but how can you run 3 monitors off the x800xl in your sig?

Dell 2007 20.1" is the perfect size and resolution to go on either side of a 2407.

The resolutions match, but the dot-pitches aren't the same, the 2407 is about an inch taller than the 2007FP (well, from memory, I used to have a 2405+2001).

I run a 2007FP in portrait next to a 3007WFP, the resolution matches, but again the dot-pitch is slightly off (albeit less so than the 2407/2007 difference).

Hey all,

im looking for 2 monitors to go either side of my Dell 2407 and was wondering what you rekomend? is the Dell 1907 the correct size? also would the colours bee the same so the panels dont look odd next to each other.
not to sound like captain obvious, but why not just go for another 2407??

The 2407WFP is 2 inches taller than the 2007WFP.

We're talking about the 2007FP, for which TV calculator reckons the difference is ~0.7".

Dell specs state the following for the Vertical Preset Display Area (height of the panel itself I think?):

2407WFP: 324mm (12.7 inches)
2007FP: 306mm (12.1 inches)

Would anybody have a side-by-side photo of this configuration they could post, as I'm looking to get these two panels and would be interested to assess the physical difference in height.
