Hi, forgive me if this seems a bit retarded. Basically my computer has 2 wireless cards in it and i have two separate WiFi networks in range. Now, what i was wondering is if it would be in some way possible to connect one card to one router and the other to the other router and download at potentially double the speed?

Cheers

EDIT: sorry, i feel i should point out that each of the WiFi networks has it's own internet connection

To put it simply no you can't, it doesn't work like that.

Actually..

I suppose if you multi-threaded your downloads it might, or something like BitTorrent could potentially be pulling stuff over both connections.

That is a good question.

I think this is possible by running a second operating system in a virtual machine. You can give the virtual machine direct access to the second wifi card at which point the main one should ignore it.

I may try this, but will need to find a second wireless card first
