My drivetrain is in a mess due to a leaky shed and was worn down anyway after a few years riding. I'm going to replace it with the following;

32T ChainRing
11-46 Sunrace cassette
Goatlink / long b screw for my deore mech

I also need a new chain, but can see people have ended up adding links to new chains with this combination. I'll probably get a KMC chain, but can anyone help me with the best size for this?

Thanks

Tbh I'd contemplate buying the shifter and going 1x11, should get a greater choice and should be a bit morw availability in future.

Chainwise any should do. They'll all be long enough.

Will need a new mech aswell, no?

But tbf a 11-46 10 speed has the same range as 11speed just less jumps.

Just go for the biggest, you'll need to size it for your specific bike anyway.

I'd just caveat that with; Most aftermarket chains come over long, I think KMC come in 2 lengths (longer ones to accommodate 1x12 speed cassettes?) but either way you'll probably need to remove a couple of links. Might be an idea to count how many links are on your current chain for reference so you don't remove too many from a new chain.
